Think Legal Recruitment is working with an employment law boutique firm in Leeds city centre who are looking to bring in an experienced employment lawyer into their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer who is looking for a different proposition than you'd find in traditional private practice.
There are no targets here, no micromanaging, and definitely no egos. The lawyers pride themselves on not taking themselves too seriously while still providing an excellent and professional service to the clients they represent.
The firm punches well above its weight for its size. Many of the clients they work with are national and international names, and they advise them on all aspects of advisory and contentious UK employment law. The majority of the work is respondent-based, but they also handle some higher-end claimant work at director/exec levels.
Fit is really important here. While you will be a strong technical employment lawyer with a good track record of experience at reputable firms, you must also have a good personality, a sense of humour, and a passion for employment law.
From a PQE perspective, it is likely you will have at least 5 years' PQE, although the firm is open-minded if you are slightly more junior and fit into the friendly culture they have fostered.
Salary is competitive in the market depending on experience + benefits.
