Job Description
The firm is looking to bring in somebody who can help manage the Birmingham team, which is made up of Paralegals, junior solicitors, and more senior fee-earners.
This role could suit a Senior Associate looking for a step up in terms of title and responsibility. There is a path to Partnership in due course for the right person.
The team acts for large Commercial clients, so they'll need somebody who has a strong background acting for employers. The work is often complex, so you will be expected to help develop the juniors in the team.
The team has a lot of clients, and there isn't the usual expectation that you will come with your own book of business. They are looking for somebody who enjoys business development and the client-facing side of the role.
The firm works flexibly, and the team is typically in the office 3 days a week.
You will have responsibility for the team, the workflow, and your own complex Employment cases.
It's a very supportive environment, and you'll have lots of support from the national Head of Employment. The Successful Applicant It's likely that you will be an existing Legal Director looking for a new firm or a Senior Associate looking to push their career forward.
It's likely that you will have at least 7 years' PQE and experience managing others.
