The Role This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor with 6+ years' PQE, ideally gained within a commercial law firm. The successful candidate will manage a primarily respondent-focused caseload, with some claimant work, and will have the autonomy to handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Key responsibilities include: Advising employer clients on a range of employment law issues, including recruitment, termination, discrimination, grievances, redundancies, TUPE, and disciplinary matters. Managing employment tribunal claims, including preparation and advocacy. Drafting, reviewing, and updating employment contracts, policies, and handbooks. Advising on senior exits and providing corporate support to the Head of Department and Corporate Team during transactions. Delivering training and guidance to HR professionals and management on employment law topics. Supervising and supporting junior team members. Promoting the team and firm at networking events and developing new business relationships.

The Candidate The ideal candidate will bring: 6+ years' PQE in employment law, with experience in a commercial law firm. Proven ability to manage employment tribunal claims and/or provide corporate transactional support. Strong client-facing and business development skills. The ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent team-working skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues and clients. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
