A distinguished law firm, recognised in the Legal 500 and recently named a Top 150 Private Practice, is actively in search of an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their growing Employment Law Team at their esteemed office in Dorset.

Responsibilities & Duties:

- Drafting legal documents including contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures

- Offering corporate assistance and guidance on employment matters related to mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing, and the impact of TUPE

- Providing counsel on a wide range of employment disputes and issues affecting both employers and employees

- Handling the preparation of Tribunal cases and representing parties at hearings as necessary

- Actively participating in departmental and firm-wide business development and marketing efforts

- Creating and fostering client relationships, taking responsibility for their growth and development

- Collaborating with the team and taking a leadership role in specific projects and initiatives

- Supervising and mentoring junior team members

The ideal candidate for the Employment Partner position should have relevant qualifications and/or experience in Employment Law, possess strong IT skills, and demonstrate proficiency in using case management systems. They should exhibit meticulous attention to detail, effective time management abilities, and a proactive, reliable, and supportive attitude. Confidence, professionalism, and a personable demeanor are essential for building positive relationships both within the firm and with clients. The candidate should display initiative, ambition, flexibility, and adaptability, along with robust organisational and communication skills. Furthermore, they should excel in providing exceptional client service, uphold integrity and discretion, and thrive in high-pressure scenarios, showcasing excellent problem-solving abilities.
