An Employment Specialist will support individuals to achieve and sustain their paid employment and vocational aspirations, in line with the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) for Supported Employment and the Place Then Train best practice models. Working with the people who access services, parents/carers, employers and the staff team, you will provide support to individuals, ensuring this is flexible and person-centred, based on individual need and preferences, enabling individuals to make informed decisions and choices. In addition, you will also be working with small groups of individuals in a variety of workshops that we provide to help the journey into employment. The successful applicant will support the achievement of individual aspirations, work in partnership with all stakeholders and support people to gain and sustain paid employment. Salary:

You will be working and traveling across both London boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth on a daily basis, in response to the needs of clients and the service. About you:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a commitment and an expectation in supporting individuals in their paid employment pathway, be self-motivated and have the ability to manage their own caseload and interact effectively with the people we support, parents/carers, employers, partner agencies and staff, promoting the service.
