We currently have a position in our IPS team to support our clients to find meaningful employment. We are interested to hear from applicants who have experience in supporting people with disadvantages in finding work, or have worked within a recruitment or HR setting where you have a good understanding of placing individuals into work, or supporting within a work environment. Our IPS (Individual Placement and Support Employment Specialists) team aims to increase the number of people moving into meaningful employment from our drug and alcohol support service. This is a new project and is an exciting opportunity to help make a real difference to people's lives. No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key. Please note that working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, however some on-call work may be required on evenings and weekends. Job responsibilities
Experience of helping people facing severe labour market disadvantage to obtain or keep work Knowledge and understanding of issues faced by people in treatment/recovery in the job market, and in employability and employment services Ability to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders, including employers, partner agencies, clients and their family/carers Working knowledge of a broad range of occupations and jobs with the ability to deploy effective employer engagement strategies Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Good IT skills, familiar with Office Suite and Google Workspace Desirable Skills
