This is a hybrid role, with your time spread between your home and our Head Office in Kilbirnie Street, Glasgow. Hours

Full-time: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week Responsibilities

As an End-Point Engineer, you will be working as part of a team responsible for Windows Desktop Operating systems, Mac OS, iOS and Android Estate. This will involve OS and application patch management, configuration and compliance management, vulnerability remediation, software packaging, deployment, and removal, as well as desktop support. Skills and day-to-day activities

Asset management:

The role involves using tools to maintain an accurate asset register, produce reports and assist in asset management activities. Customer service support:

Performing initial investigation and diagnosis of customer issues, resolving them where possible or escalating as needed. Deployment:

Responsibilities include configuring and supporting software packages through SCCM, Intune, and other tools, ensuring that patches and software are deployed effectively. System software administration:

Installing, managing and maintaining operating systems, data management, office automation and utility software across various environments. Functional testing:

Functional testing is needed to ensure effective configuration of OS and applications. Assist in creating test cases, setting up test environments and executing functional tests. Quality assurance:

Ensuring that deployed configurations meet quality standards. This involves identifying quality issues, performing reviews and recommending improvements. Software configuration:

The role includes configuring OS environments and software packages, as well as monitoring compliance. Responsibilities involve application and compliance monitoring. Knowledge and experience

Demonstrable experience with SCCM/Configuration Manager Some understanding of Intune /Endpoint Manager Some understanding of operating systems, including at least one of Windows and Mac OS Some understanding of mobile devices and their use within an organisation Customer-focused mindset at the forefront of everything you do Comfortable working in a team setting and contributing to the common team objectives Self-motivated to complete tasks and exceed our customers’ expectations Problem-solver who enjoys finding inventive solutions to difficult problems Our Culture
