This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT EUC (End User Computer) Support team, in a full-time role based at Coldharbour. This role will involve working across a wide array of technologies, applications, and on the Windows 10 platform. You will gain exposure to the latest desktop hardware and software, along with managing, supporting, installing, and fixing various Windows-based 'end user' devices and their operating platforms.

We seek a highly motivated individual to join the EUC Support team in Kent. Supporting our officers across both Essex Police and Kent Police is vitally important, so patience, tact, and positivity are required to assist our operational officers effectively. Working in a collaborative department, you will need to travel to other Police sites; therefore, a valid driving licence is essential.

Part of the role includes joining the out-of-hours on-call support rota (1 week in every 5), supporting Kent Police outside of core hours (Mon - Fri 5pm to 8am and Sat - Sun 24 hours).

The successful candidate must be able to evidence: A working knowledge of supporting and troubleshooting the Windows 10 Operating System or academic learning in the ICT field. Understanding and knowledge of the main key Microsoft Office applications including Office 365. Effective communication skills, preferably gained within a customer service environment. Attention to detail when demonstrating tasks that require a high level of accuracy to maintain approved working practices and systems. A valid Driving Licence. Please also evidence any experience in the desirable criteria, however, development and training will be provided: Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory. Knowledge and understanding of basic networking. An understanding of the principles of ITIL in a support services arena. Academic learning in the ICT field. The role is a 2nd line office-based role with your primary base of work as the Coldharbour Police Station in Aylesford Kent, remotely supporting officers and staff across Kent and Essex.

Kent Police offers incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £37,932.00.
