Competitive, based on experience Company Overview We are a private laboratory based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, offering haematology, biochemistry, and immunology testing. As part of our expansion, we are introducing hormone replacement therapy (HRT) services and are seeking an experienced Endocrinologist to support us in this specialist area. Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Endocrinologist to assist in the interpretation of hormone testing reports and the establishment of qualification parameters for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining eligibility criteria, considering factors such as hormone levels, age, and gender, and will be responsible for signing off patients who meet the necessary medical requirements. Key Responsibilities: Interpret hormone test results and assess eligibility for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Develop evidence-based qualification parameters for patient eligibility, considering factors such as hormone levels, age, and gender. Ensure accuracy in haematology and hormone testing results, providing clear guidance on appropriate next steps. Collaborate with our medical doctor to ensure safe and effective prescription and patient care. Support the development of protocols for hormone-related testing and reporting within the laboratory. Required Qualifications & Experience Fully qualified Endocrinologist, with experience in hormone testing and haematology. Proven competency in establishing reference ranges and eligibility criteria for hormone therapy. Ability to work independently and provide expert guidance on hormone replacement protocols. Strong communication skills to collaborate with the laboratory and medical teams. Experience in a clinical, laboratory, or research setting related to endocrinology is highly desirable.
