Royal Hallamshire Hospital Glossop Road, Sheffield S10 2JF & Northern General Hospital, Herries Rd, Sheffield S5 7AU What you’ll be responsible for: Providing professional reception cover for the department, checking patients in on arrival. Undertaking administration functions for the department, such as scanning, photocopying, filing, and any other adhoc administrative tasks. Booking and rescheduling patient appointments. Answering and dealing with patient calls with general queries, promptly and efficiently. You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust: An in-depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation. You’ll have the following skills/experience: Excellent communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload. NHS System Knowledge. Experience in a similar role.
