Provide care and support to children residing in the residential primary school with Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs Ensure the physical, emotional, and social well-being of the children Implement and follow care plans and procedures Supervise and engage children in recreational and educational activities Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a safe and nurturing environment Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress Experience:

Prior experience working with children in a school/care/after school club setting Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of child development and welfare Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team Basic computer skills Applicants must be enthusiastic, with an understanding of and commitment to children with severe behavioural, social and emotional difficulties Working Conditions:

This role involves working with children and may require evening shifts. The work environment is a residential primary school setting, which may include outdoor activities. The successful applicant will receive the relevant training and support required to become part of our dedicated and innovative team. You will need to be flexible, working shifts between the hours 07:30 - 21:00, Monday to Friday, term time plus 5 CPD days. An example shift could be: Monday 14:00 - 21:00 Tuesday 07:30 - 09:30 / 12:00 - 21:00 with a break included Thursday 07:30- 09:30 / 14:30 - 21:00 Friday 07:30- 15:00 Salary is based on annualised hours for weeks per year. Visits to the school are positively encouraged. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
