Energy and Sustainability Consultant
Hybrid Role, Bristol
Basic up to £45,000 and an excellent bonus scheme
Our client has over 200 employees UK-wide and is expanding their Energy and Sustainability team. This role is based out of their Bristol office, and you will need to attend the office 3 days per week.
Investment in their team is key, with great opportunities for growth and gaining new skills, working for high-profile clients on exciting projects across various sectors, predominantly commercial, but also retail, residential, and industrial. This role will suit someone keen to establish themselves in a leading consultancy practice.
The Sustainability team works with predominantly commercial clients, offering best-in-class sustainability advice through a wide range of disciplines. The team works across all stages of a project life cycle, providing sustainability services tailored to clients' needs, including strategic sustainability frameworks, sustainability coordination, and specialist studies in Carbon, Whole Life Carbon, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Life Cycle Costings (LCC), and Certification, including BREEAM, LEED, WELL, and NABERS UK accreditation for buildings.
You will support the technical delivery of LCA/LCC/WLC analysis and reporting, assist with producing models, analyze results, and propose solutions to reduce the upfront embodied and whole life carbon of projects. Responsibilities include the delivery of EPC, MEES, and NZC pathway reporting, assisting with producing IES models (including compliance and TM54), report writing, and the communication and presentation of low carbon analysis and solutions to internal and external project teams to develop resource-efficient/low carbon buildings.
