We're seeking an Energy and Sustainability Consultant to champion energy efficiency and environmental initiatives on a healthcare contract in the St Helens area. In this exciting role, you'll work with a dynamic team to create and implement strategies that help us achieve our net-zero ambitions. From managing utilities to advancing innovative sustainability projects, your contributions will be vital in shaping a greener, more sustainable healthcare environment. Your Role Sustainability Leadership: Drive initiatives to reduce waste, energy use, and environmental impact, ensuring we meet sustainability targets and exceed industry standards. Utilities & Compliance: Manage utilities efficiently while ensuring compliance with energy regulations and environmental legislation. Data-Driven Insights: Monitor energy and water consumption, produce detailed reports, and support informed decision-making. Strategic Collaboration: Lead environmental projects, coordinate with teams, and communicate with stakeholders to align efforts toward sustainability goals. Systems Management: Optimize Building and Energy Management Systems (BMS/EMS) to enhance operational efficiency. About You Proven experience in energy management, sustainability, or environmental services (healthcare or facilities management experience is a bonus). In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation, energy conservation, and risk management. Excellent communication skills with a knack for engaging and motivating teams. Familiarity with CAFM, BMS, and EMS systems is advantageous. A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize and respond to challenges effectively.
