BCL Legal is delighted to partner with a leading national law firm in the search for an Associate or Senior Associate Solicitor to join its highly regarded Renewable Energy and Projects team in Nottingham. The Role
As a Clean/Renewable Energy Solicitor, you will:
· Work on high-profile clean energy projects, including power purchase agreements, battery optimisation contracts, and low carbon support regimes.
· Advise on project developments, acquisitions, disposals, and Ofgem licensing.
· Be part of a forward-thinking team, collaborating with renowned Partners and legal experts across multiple offices.
· Have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies such as solar PV, wind, hydrogen, EV infrastructure, and energy-from-waste projects.
· Engage in business development, building lasting relationships with clients in the clean energy sector.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
· 4-7 years PQE, with at least 4 years of experience in commercial, projects, or regulatory work within the energy sector.
· Strong knowledge of clean energy technologies and contracts, such as battery storage, biogas, and district heating (an advantage).
· A passion for clean and green energy, with a desire to further your career in this growing field.
· Excellent communication and client management skills.
