Our UK and Continental Europe Energy & Power team is growing and we’re looking for an Intern to join our New Energy & Advisory team to help provide support to projects and gain insight into Jacobs’ markets. Our New Energy & Advisory team provides a range of consulting services within energy systems technology. New Energy and Advisory is a specialist engineering, strategy and advisory practice operating within Jacobs’ Energy & Power business, focused on managing our clients’ risks and creating solutions that support change driven predominantly by net zero goals and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments. With our deep technical, commercial and strategic energy expertise across the whole energy system we develop solutions that address our clients’ critical challenges around decarbonisation and the energy transition, including whole system efficiency, electrification of demand, digitalisation and opportunities in decentralised energy. What will you get? As a member of the Jacobs intern community, weekly presentations on key learning topics will be on offer and you’ll be invited to attend regular office events and competitions! Here's what you'll need: On track to complete a Degree or Masters level qualification in Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Energy & Environmental Science or Energy Management. A flexible and innovative self-starter who’s passionate about developing new skills. Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real-world problems. Empathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients’ requirements. A well-rounded individual – have you worked in a bar? Been captain of a sports team or volunteered for a charity? Tell us - we’re looking for people with interesting stories and experiences! You must be available to join the 8-week programme starting 30th June 2025 – 22nd August 2025. You must have the right to work in the UK. You need to be a penultimate year student, finishing your degree in 2026.
