Energy Helper Team Leader

What you'll be
As a Sales Team Leader, you’ll be exactly that, a 'Leader’, not a manager. You’ll be leading a team of face-to-face ambassadors to more than just a sales performance; you’ll be the frontline of our brand and as such, you’ll be driving our culture throughout your team. Your leadership style will be one of inspiration, not manipulation. You’ll be inspiring, motivating, and coaching your team to their absolute best individual performance. What you'll do
You’ll be inspiring, motivating, and coaching your team of around 10 ambassadors to their absolute best individual performance. You’ll also be inspiring your team by leading by example; you’ll be expected to carry out the same activities as your team, as well as leading and supporting them. Your role will be to ensure that every conversation your team has delivers excellent customer service. This is primarily a face-to-face role; however, our Energy Helpers and leaders need to be flexible. At times of high demand, we support our customers where we are needed most, so there will be opportunities for more office-based work helping our inbound telesales team or our solar sales team, for example. What you'll need
Face-to-face experience within customer-centric sales roles. The ability to demonstrate outstanding leadership to colleagues in order to influence and inspire, including the ability to provide guidance, motivation, and development. Adaptable personal style to deliver constructive feedback on standards of performance to the team. A self-starter attitude who actively drives their team and their own performance. The ability to develop, implement, and deliver change. Ideally, demonstrate experience and knowledge of the energy industry (preferred but not essential). Ideally, demonstrate a strong understanding of Field Sales, either door-to-door or events/venues (ideally both).
Ultimately, you’ll be the sort of leader who spends their time trying to catch your
team
members doing something right, not trying to catch them doing something wrong.
