My client, a leader in commercial real estate, is seeking an experienced Energy Manager to spearhead their energy management initiatives. This role involves driving energy efficiency, sustainability strategies, and cost-saving measures across diverse UK and European portfolios. Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of energy management strategies to optimize performance across commercial real estate assets. Conduct energy assessments and investment-grade audits, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and asset value enhancement. Oversee the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of energy data, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards and regulations. Collaborate with property managers, tenants, and stakeholders to promote and deliver carbon reduction initiatives. Develop and deliver detailed reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with UK and European legislation and industry standards. Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in energy management within the commercial real estate sector. Strong knowledge of energy management systems, performance contracting, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., EPC, NABERS, ISO 50001, BREEAM, LEED). Proficiency in data analysis tools and energy monitoring software. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
