Our client is currently seeking a Senior Hydrographic Surveyor/Party Chief to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is based near the historic city of Salisbury, at their headquarters on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced offshore surveyor to take on additional responsibilities in a managerial capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

Taking a technical lead on vessel mobilisation, data capture, processing, and reporting Managing hydrographic survey projects, ensuring successful delivery from start to finish Supporting the operations manager in the general running and delivery of all hydrographic survey services Contributing to business development activities and financial reporting at the project level Assisting the managing director with pursuing technical excellence and growth in the hydrography department Overseeing and mentoring technical staff to ensure quality and efficiency Balancing fieldwork with office-based tasks to support overall project needs

Job Requirements:

Experience in the field of hydrography and geophysical surveying Proven offshore surveyor skills with a background in technical operations Competence in project management and excellent communication abilities Understanding of business development activities and financial project reporting A relevant degree in surveying or equivalent qualification Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Willingness to relocate within commuting distance to the head office, if necessary
