Bramwith Consulting is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual for the role of Energy/Commodity Trading Development Manager / Head of Technology (C#) / Technology Transformation. This position involves managing the technology team while concurrently leading and transforming the client's technology. This is a hybrid role requiring 1-2 days per week in the London office, with the option to work 3-4 days from home. The office is open 5 days per week for those who prefer to work onsite. As part of the executive team, you will have significant autonomy in managing your time and team. You will inherit an existing team and be expected to hire new technologists to support the technology transformation and ongoing company growth. My client is a leading energy/commodity trading software provider in Europe, aiming for global growth, and seeks an ambitious Head of Technology to collaborate closely with their Solutions Architect to lead this transformation. You will report to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and are expected to demonstrate the following: Technologist:

A strong understanding and passion for technology, particularly C#. This is not a Solution Architect role, but a solid grasp of technology is essential. Technology Leader:

Proven people leadership skills and experience. Dynamic Change Leader:

Ability to lead and drive technological advancements, ensuring the client remains best in class. Essential qualifications include: 10+ years of commercial experience in software development, with 5+ years managing Development Teams. A strong C# development background. Experience in energy or financial trading, either in a software house (ETRM, fintech, etc.), an IT consultancy, or a trading business. Experience in recruiting IT teams and developing staff. Previous technology change and transformation experience is ideal. A degree is preferred but not essential. Salary: £100-140k basic + executive scheme management bonus + benefits.
