We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative Engagement Assistant to work within the Partnerships, Engagement and Inclusion Team at TfGM. Your Role This role is critical to help Greater Manchester continue to deliver on its ambitions for the Bee Network, an integrated active and public transport network which is affordable, accessible, inclusive, sustainable, and accountable. In support of these ambitions, we are seeking an Engagement Assistant to support the team and wider organisation to engage Greater Manchester’s people and communities to ensure we deliver an inclusive and integrated transport system. Who are we? This is a dynamic and fast-paced role within the Partnerships, Engagement and Inclusion Team in TfGM’s Transport Strategy function. The team is responsible for engaging with stakeholders, communities, businesses, and people with lived experience to shape inclusive transport policies for Greater Manchester. What you’ll bring We’re looking for a self-starter who would be comfortable supporting multiple projects and workstreams and has excellent time management skills. You will be able to support the planning and managing of events, building contacts and networks, and establishing effective working relationships both internally and externally as well as collating and assessing information for reports. What we can offer you This post is a twelve-month fixed-term contract with a salary of £29,881 to £33,955 per annum depending on skills and experience.
