Your role: This is an exciting opportunity for an Engagement Consultant to join a team that delivers planning, design, highways and traffic engineering, landscape architecture and engagement services. What you will be doing: Our team helps clients connect with their communities & stakeholders and involve them in the decisions that impact the way they live, work and travel. We deliver public consultation, community engagement and behaviour change programmes, and analyse the outcomes of these to shape how local authorities deliver projects. This role will work alongside our Senior Engagement Consultants to develop and implement effective engagement plans and activities for our clients, securing buy-in from a diverse range of stakeholders. Your work will be varied and during a typical week, you could be: Supporting at face-to-face and online events such as workshops and drop-in sessions, developing your organisation and facilitation skills Drafting engaging content for different channels, including leaflets, web and social media Showcasing your written communication skills, including responding to stakeholders’ queries, developing FAQs and key messages Creating web pages, surveys and digital outlets to gather feedback from the community and stakeholders Data input of engagement feedback and building your data analysis skills Improving your project management skills, including designing project schedules and liaising with relevant suppliers ensuring that projects and actions are delivered on time Ensuring that client brand guidelines are followed in content and design What’s in it for you: The role is a permanent position, working in a team with a high-profile agenda that delivers planning, design, highways and traffic engineering, landscape architecture and engagement services.
