About the role You will utilise your creativity skills to take information that needs to be relayed to the wider company and create engaging content to be shared within the business. You will be a vital element of our improvement strategy, striving to progress engagement across the business. Our Engagement and Internal Communications Manager will provide the important connection between our sites and head office, keeping our staff as our number one priority. You will use our digital communication tools to generate campaigns, following trends and finding interesting ways to keep our staff engaged. Managing a small team and holding monthly 121's. Involvement in arranging internal events across the UK, such as Employee of the Year celebrations. Create and execute a DEIB strategy to ensure that we are proactively providing an inclusive workplace. Develop inspiring and impactful internal communications campaigns and initiatives, including wellbeing, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and events. Collaborate with key stakeholders to produce high quality, best-fit digital content. The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in a similar role within a fast moving, complex organisation with multiple audiences. A 'people' person who has the confidence and ability to quickly build trust. A creative eye with a strong attention to detail. The patience to work through big-picture change, and the knack for storytelling. Strong organisational skills. Expert eye for detail, producing high quality content. Multi-tasker, with passion and energy. Effective management skills, experience implementing process and managing stakeholders and their expectations. Previous experience as a line manager is ideal.
