The Engagement Mentor is primarily responsible for providing support and guidance to students with behavioural and social challenges that affect their learning experience and engagement with others. Responsibilities

Use a range of strategies to support the positive behaviour of students, including 1:1 and group interventions to facilitate a positive learning experience. Work closely with the college's support coaches. Embed the college's values:

Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, High Expectations, and Responsibility. Qualifications

It is essential for this role to have excellent motivational, assertiveness skills, and communication skills at all levels to ensure supported students make positive progress in a timely fashion. Experience of working with young people/adults in a support situation is essential.
