The post holder will work as part of a small team of committed, enthusiastic professionals and will require the post holder to act with a degree of autonomy to: Play a key role in providing practical support and expertise around engagement on behalf of the department. Support the Engagement Manager and wider team in taking forward consultation and engagement exercises as part of the Health Board's health and care strategy and plans. Co-ordinate engagement activity across local communities, with a focus on Ceredigion. Deliver engagement with staff across the organisation; support and co-ordinate elements of the programme of continuous engagement on areas within their portfolio; which will provide the public with a range of ways of using their voice and getting involved in their NHS. Assist the implementation of innovative participatory engagement approaches making full use of traditional and new methods of engagement and involvement to engage staff, stakeholders, media and the public to build public confidence in the organisation and involve them in designing services and strategies. Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the service. There will be a requirement to work outside of normal working hours During consultation/ engagement periods there is a requirement to travel to attend meetings and events across the health board area of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. These meetings and events can take place in rural areas at unsociable hours. Ability to transport display equipment and documentation (at times large and heavy) to events, and set up the venue or stands at engagement events.
