3 years Fixed Term Contract ABOUT THE ENGAGEMENT WORKER ROLE

We are seeking an Engagement Worker for a three-year Fixed Term Contract. This vital frontline role supports individuals with complex needs on their journey to recovery and rehabilitation. Working in a psychologically informed environment (PIE), you will provide person-centred support, helping residents and participants build resilience, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals. Holman House is a 19-bed residential service close to Bedford Town Centre offering a safe, peaceful, and supportive living environment for individuals wishing to engage with support to assist them in increasing their levels of independence. Shift Pattern:

37.5 hours per week, Rota-based shifts, including evenings and weekends, flexibility required. Shifts include: 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00, and 12:00 - 20:00 face to face in service. Salary:

£23,800 What are we looking for from an Engagement Worker?

Experience of working with people of complex backgrounds and/or a good understanding of the sector Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Ability to form and build effective relationships and rapport with others What we offer
