Our client is a longstanding and highly reputable company that specializes in a range of equipment for the Pharma and Scientific industries. Working collaboratively with their customers, they create tailored solutions to suit individual requirements and deliver a high-quality client service. They are now looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their friendly and supportive team.

Responsibilities

Conducting calibrations Scheduling and conducting site service work Routine maintenance of test equipment Conducting validation of test equipment and validation of test methods Implementation of the Quality System as per QMS training Filing of non-conformance reports Customer communication relating to all aspects of calibration work Participation in customer/UKAS annual audits Preparation and feedback for lab meetings and management review for key topics Completing IQ/OQ documentation/protocols/calibration certificates Providing technical support via phone and email

The role will be site-based in Chorley when not visiting client sites across the whole of the UK.

To be considered for the role, you will ideally have experience within a field service engineering role within the Pharmaceutical or Scientific industries. You will also hold a degree in an Engineering discipline or similar relevant qualification. Experience in refrigeration would be a bonus but is not mandatory. Furthermore, you should be self-motivated, proficient in computers, and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills. You should also be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. A driver's licence and own transport will also be required.
