Key Tasks: Prioritize safety and compliance of machinery, equipment, tools, and workshop. Actively fault-find and repair machinery/equipment/facility as necessary. Support production department and strive to set up equipment to produce best possible quality output. Make improvements to current equipment and processes. Attend breakdowns and take appropriate action to repair equipment. Carry out factory start-ups and shut-downs. Participate in scheduled preventative maintenance and technical cleaning programmes. Support with contractor control and monitoring. Work on chemical dosing system, boiler, compressed air system, conveyors, water systems, gas dryers, and ironers. Undertake project work to improve the effectiveness of the laundry. Ad hoc duties as required by the Engineering Manager/General Manager.
