Technical Surveyor

Contract
£25 per hour PAYE or £32.22 per hour Limited paid via Umbrella Company inside IR35
Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified Technical Surveyor. This role will specifically involve surveying Damp & Mould.
Responsibilities:
Manage the case from start to finish, ensuring the Mould is eradicated for the resident and implementing measures to prevent reoccurrence.
Diagnose complex building defects and specify rectification measures.
Project a positive image of the workplace as an ambassador.
Qualifications and Skills:
Excellent knowledge of building maintenance.
Knowledge of surveying and issues relating to Damp and Mould.
Knowledge of HHSRS.
Knowledge of Schedule of Rates.
Clear understanding of Health & Safety legislation and good practice.
Good working knowledge of tools used in surveying.
Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles.
Good working knowledge of IT applications relevant to the post.
Knowledge of the Disrepair pre-action protocol.
Customer-focused with a can-do approach to resident queries.
Strong risk assessment skills ensuring safety is a priority.
Be a self-starter, able to use own initiative and contribute fully to service delivery.
Interpersonal Customer Service Skills both written and verbal.
Administrative skills in data logging.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
Good project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
