Our Façade Engineering practice offers a range of services to help bring architectural visions to life. We work with architects, building owners, and developers to solve design challenges, improve how buildings are constructed, make them more energy-efficient, and enhance their security. Our services cover the entire building life cycle, from initial materials research and detailed design to engineering support during construction and investigating any issues with glass or façade systems. In our field, innovation is key, and many of the facades we work on are custom-designed using unique combinations of materials.
Our London-based Façade Engineering team is a tightly knit group of Façade Engineers and Technical Architects. We work on a variety of projects, including residential developments, commercial buildings, and mixed-use facilities. Some of our notable projects include the design of the Euston Tower project in London and the renovation of the Wimbledon No.1 Court project. The Euston Tower project showcases our expertise in creating innovative and efficient façade systems for high-rise refurbished structures with a focus on minimising embodied carbon, while the Wimbledon No.1 Court project highlights our ability to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of large sports venues with complex façade and structure interaction. Our team applies expertise in systems and materials to solve complex design challenges, improve constructability, maximize efficiency, and increase security. We are active members of the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) in the UK and the Façade Tectonics Institute in the US.
The Role
We have an opportunity for an
Engineer Intern
to join our Façade Practice at our London office during the summer of 2025.
Responsibilities Responsible for analysis, design, and detailing of façade systems. Coordination of design work with in-house staff as well as other design professionals, including Architects and other Engineering disciplines. Requirements Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in engineering or architecture. Excellent academic record.
