The successful Engineer will: Undertake design, optimization and analysis of innovative equipment for offshore energy, marine renewables, energy transition and utility sectors Working closely with clients, develop innovative solutions from concept development to deployment Support analysis of test and performance data for reliability improvement Skills Profile
Excellent design skills including proficient use of 3-D CAD software Excellent numerical and analytical skills, including proficient use of FEA software A proactive and creative approach to tasks and excellent engineering problem solving skills Proficient use of MS Office Excellent communication skills both written and oral Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a small team with good interpersonal skills Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise Working knowledge of Inventor 3-D CAD and ANSYS Finite Element Analysis software Working knowledge of MathCad, MS Project, Power Bi and Power Query Awareness of reliability techniques (e.g. FMECA, FTA, ETA, RAM analysis) Qualifications
First or upper second-class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with relevant post-graduate industry experience Eligibility to work in the UK Ability to travel to client sites and our other offices both in the UK and overseas Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng status Experience of working in offshore energy sectors and knowledge of related standards and recommended practices Engineered Solutions Technology Qualification Asset Integrity
