We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter with Welding experience - (Mig, TiG & Stick) to join our team and help maintain and enhance equipment in a fast-paced sawmill setting. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are dedicated to ensuring smooth operations, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Carry out both preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of sawmill equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to minimize equipment downtime. Perform regular inspections to detect potential issues and implement timely solutions. Work closely with production teams to optimize machinery performance and ensure workplace safety. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks, repairs, and parts inventory. Adhere to safety regulations and environmental standards in all maintenance activities. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter with Welding experience - (Mig, TiG & Stick) ideally within a sawmill or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with sawmill machinery such as saw guides and edgers is an advantage. Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive maintenance approach. What We Offer: Full training with ongoing support. Competitive weekly pay - $32ph. Work in a dynamic, supportive environment.
