AEIS = Allianz Engineering Inspection Services
are pleased to be working in partnership with the Armed Forces Career Transition Partnership (CTP) to provide opportunities in Engineering for those transitioning from the Armed Forces. We are looking for ex-service personnel who possess valuable engineering experience and ‘life lessons’ gained from time served within the military across all three services. We are AEIS = Allianz Engineering Inspection Services, one of the leading engineering insurance and inspection service providers in the UK. Our inspection service helps businesses evaluate their engineering risks and meet their health and safety, legislative, and regulatory compliance requirements. There’s loads of exciting work ahead with the Allianz Engineering Team, as a result we’re expanding our team of Engineer Surveyors, covering Lift and Crane, Power Press, Pressure Mechanical, Electrical and LEV disciplines based across the UK. The Engineer Surveyor role is at the forefront of our business, helping our customers stay safe and compliant. It's a "hands-on" role, visiting every type of retail, commercial, educational, and industrial premises, inspecting anything from a boiler to a crane in a small independent garage to a well-known landmark in London. It's an extremely varied role, you'll be out and about, meeting all sorts of customers and will be part of a fantastic team. We have opportunities in the following locations: Lift and Crane Central London East London North London West London South East London Dublin City and County, ROI Greater Dublin and Leinster area, ROI Cork City and County, ROI Munster area, ROI Birmingham (Central) Home Counties Electrical Oxford Pressure Mechanical North London West London Central London Belfast About You Possess a mechanical engineering background and hold a minimum of a level 3 engineering qualification Are customer-focused with a professional attitude Have strong organizational skills Flexible Safety conscious Are team players, yet also happy to work independently Have a full driving license The role is home-based, you'll have a geographic area to cover and you'll organize your own day/week. Compensation and Benefits: Starting at £41,436 to £52,075 depending on experience and location (including Engineer Surveyor Allowance) Incremental salary increases for the first 2 years whilst developing in the role Company car - Toyota Corolla Hybrid and all tools/equipment provided Generous pension contributions up to 15% Overtime earnings – uncapped Travel time is included within the working week, and you'll be in control of your diary/appointments Life cover x 4 basic salary Flexible buy/sell holiday options – up to 5 days per holiday year Development days and unlimited Learning & Development opportunities A discount of up to 50% on a range of insurance products for you and your family including car, home and pet Retail discounts including BMW, Vodafone, Uber Eats, attractions, travel, shops and more Health & lifestyle benefits for you and your family including Dental, Bupa and Cycle to Work Employee Support Programme Our Ways of Working Do you need some flexibility with the hours you work?
