Engineer Technician

Engineer Technician focuses on be involved in the full mechanical build, setting, and commissioning of mechanical and automation machinery, working from 2d/3d cad drawings and assembly schedules.

What the role involves

• Be involved in the full mechanical build, setting, and commissioning of mechanical and automation machinery, working from 2D/3D CAD drawings and assembly schedules.
• Then build out equipment to drawings and site conditions, working through to fully completed and operational systems.

Skills and requirements

• Also attend service visits for maintenance, warranty work and breakdowns, using your experience to fault find, problem solve, and feed back issues, preparing service reports and co.
• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of machine mechanics and pneumatics.
• Experience with sensor setting, pneumatic pipework and automation machinery.

Confirmed role details

• £30,000 – £36,000 depending on experience.
• Overtime available (~50 hrs/month) at enhanced rates (1.5x weekdays/Sat, 2x Sun) C£11K.
• 22 days annual leave.
• Salary review after 3 months, then annually.
