A vacancy has arisen for a Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will apply key technical skills to the design, development and implementation of Control and Instrumentation systems to enable the successful delivery of Vital Energi’s projects and programmes across the UK. They will lead and take full ownership of medium to large scale work packages associated with Energy Management and Control Systems, from conception to delivery, often with complex control strategies. Key responsibilities
Leading medium to large scale projects on Energy Control Systems, from concept through to detailed design Serving as technical lead for design and implementation of control and safety systems Preparing plans and estimates for tender proposals Producing system documentation including system architecture, control philosophies, ladder logic and control system software specifications Assessing and capturing project requirements, developing design proposals Attending HAZOP assessments, design reviews and project meetings Providing engineering support during construction and commissioning Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to the design team What you will need
