We're seeking an Engineering Data Lead to join our rapidly growing team.

As part of the Product Data Management (PDM) team, this role will touch several topics including Part Naming/Numbering, Bill of Material (BOM) structuring and management, Engineering Change Management (ECM), etc.

In this role, you will be working closely with Engineering teams, Product and Marketing teams, and IT functions. You will also be required to build relationships with all areas of the business to support the collection and validation of requirements.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our offices near Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What You'll Do

Working with the Company's Design, Engineering and Technical Procurement functions to ensure the data is accurate with regards to part specification, source codes, weight, quantity, and all other attributes (metadata). Build and Lead the Data Management team. Implement the Data Quality checking standards and processes for the CAD data. Liaise with the IT, Security and function groups to align with the CAD data to be transferred to the Suppliers and other partners. Check for the quality and format of the data before the transfer. Keeping a track of the important freeze and release dates and when the CAD data is required to be sent to the suppliers. Reviewing the CAD data and feedback to the team/s if any such feedback received from the suppliers. Create process flows for data management and review/update the existing one if any changes required in the workflow. Keep the function groups and other teams informed on a regular basis about the data transfer status. Liaise with the Data management and BoM management team in case of any data quality, missing data, or missing attributes recorded by the suppliers, and feedback to the suppliers with the right level/quality data. Who You Are

Display evident experience working within a demanding team environment. Good understanding of data management process. Good experience in implementing the processes/workflows. A good working knowledge of whole vehicle design data is essential. PLM Data management experience. Knowledge of 3D Experience (PLM) systems. Proven success in applying design standards in automotive or other applicable industries. Experience of coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. Relevant experience in Data Management and document management. About Us
