The Apprenticeship

We are looking for

one apprentice

to join our

Engineering Process team

located at our

Peterborough facility

(PE1 5FQ). The team enables operational excellence through the development of analytical solutions and business applications.

Our apprentices will:

Earn a competitive salary package, starting at c. £24,931 per year.

Receive 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.

Have access to a contributory share and pension scheme, flexible benefits, and up to 9% bonus.

In collaboration with our partnered training provider, Anglia Ruskin University, our

4-year degree

apprenticeship scheme will enable you to grow and develop your capabilities. Apprentices will spend at least 20% of their working hours completing university-based learning leading to a

nationally recognised qualification

through the Level 6 Data Scientist apprenticeship standard:

A Level 6 Data scientist Apprenticeship certificate

A BSc (Hons) Data Science.

As part of this programme, apprentices are required to attend university on a block release basis.

The Experience

Apprentices will undertake various six-month placements in a wide range of functional areas. Placement tasks may include:

Working across a variety of projects, analysing data, and making suggestions that inform business decisions.

Development of core skills - data analytics, project management, and process improvement techniques.

Developing a good understanding of data structures and database systems.

Learning about and using a range of analytical tools.

Collecting, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data.

Conducting a range of analytical studies on data.

Creating process and data workflows using tools such as Power Automate.

Creating visualisations of data using tools like PowerBI and PowerApps.

Entry Requirement

GCSEs: Five Grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English.

A-Levels: Minimum of 96 tariff points required including Grade C in A-Level Mathematics.

NOTE: Equivalent academic qualifications to the above requirements welcome.
