Hexwired have partnered with an exciting electronics manufacturer in the telecoms space who are looking to hire an Engineering Director to lead their Hardware team. This Engineering Director should have at least ten years of management experience in Hardware production lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee hardware/software project workflows in alignment with project timelines. Customise engineering tools and practices to fit specific project requirements. Assign responsibilities, support task execution, and ensure quality deliverables. Participate in defining product functionality and interfaces, system architecture, and component allocation. Research and implement innovative technologies for competitive advantages.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. 10-15 years of experience in systems, hardware, or electronics engineering, ideally within regulated industries. Proven track record in technical leadership, project management, and multidisciplinary teamwork. Familiarity with agile project tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and engineering methodologies (e.g., DDQS or similar).
