Jo5977/SB The Company My client, a market leading food manufacturer to all the major multiples, is looking to expand its management team at its Harrogate manufacturing plant. The company is an extremely well-established business, with over 100 years of experience within their chosen field of specialism. This rapidly expanding group has doubled in size, turnover-wise, in the last 5 years alone, therefore, there is excellent scope for future career advancement. Key Skills Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Previous experience in a management or supervisory position Understanding of PPM systems, CMMS systems The Role They are looking for an Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will be from an engineering management background with an understanding of engineering standards and legislative compliance. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for: Managing Maintenance Engineers on a 24/7 Shift, including workload, holidays, sickness, performance, and training. Coordinating the planned and reactive maintenance activities of the engineers. Ensuring legislative compliance with relevant regulations across operations. Additional Requirements Apprentice trained Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer. A good level of IT skills including Microsoft Office and CMMS (computerised Maintenance Management System). Ideally from food/FMCG but will consider other industries.
