£30,000 Shift pattern:
Monday to Friday, 8.00 - 4.30pm Hours:
40 Contract type:
Permanent. Are you looking for a new opportunity within Engineering? Want to be a part of a dynamic team working within a fast-paced environment? We are currently looking for someone to join our team as our new facilities operative within our engineering department. You will have the opportunity to maintain site facilities, both factory and offices, as well as grounds to a high standard, ensuring site safety. This will involve office hours plus flexibility for evening and weekend work as required. Another part of your role means you will conduct various duties that maximize the quality and quantity of the site facilities/buildings along with the grounds work that maintains local habitats and encourages wildlife. Main Responsibilities:
Ensure that all practices and procedures carried out on site comply with all legislation. Carry out all tasks safely, accurately, and consistently. Perform daily site letter picks. Conduct building maintenance, including but not limited to painting & decorating, repairs, and drainage. Operate machinery safely and accurately and report any equipment and structural faults. Carry out basic maintenance and safety checks on grounds equipment. Participate in communication activities on safety matters to ensure a free flow of ideas. Ensure that the Vitacress safety image is positively reflected through your actions. Receive necessary training to competently carry out your duties and responsibilities, acknowledging personal responsibility for safety. If you have good communication skills and are a good problem solver, you could be a great fit for this position. Previous experience in building maintenance or basic carpentry would be desirable.
