Job Title: Engineering Front Line Manager | Location: Nottingham
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, Days
So what's it all about?
As our next Engineering Front Line Manager, you will be passionate about leading a team of talented Engineers whilst providing maintenance support as required. You will thrive on interacting with various individuals from different departments throughout the factory, not just those in engineering.
You will be a good and strong communicator who is able to instinctively make the right decisions in a fast-paced environment. To succeed in this role, you will be adaptable and able to work well with others.
You will play a key role in driving best in class standards within the engineering department and driving the team forward. You will be the crucial connection between engineering and the other departments within the factory.
You will also manage onsite contractors and will be heavily involved in all site projects. This role involves a wide range of tasks and projects meaning no two days are the same.
Your main responsibilities will be to manage and develop a dedicated team, whilst providing maintenance support, managing projects and building successful relationships within your team and across all departments.
The Key Requirements...
Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering Previous engineering experience within a manufacturing environment Experience leading a team (ideally within an engineering department) Good people management skills Great communication skills We'll provide you with opportunities to learn new skills, grow and develop and we aim to provide our colleagues with a job for life!
