After receiving first class training, it will be the responsibility of the Engineering Geologist to design, manage and carry out site investigation contracts. This will involve directing and supervising the collection, logging, and analysis of soil and material samples from ground investigation sites. Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate would hold a degree (preferably a Masters) in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science (or similar relevant subject). It is desirable to have at least 2 years’ professional experience in a similar role within an engineering consultancy or a site investigation company. Duties and Responsibilities
Establishing the feasibility of projects, and liaising with clients regarding project budgets and cost estimates. Phase I Desk Studies, Walkover Surveys and Phase II+ Intrusive Investigations (with supervision where required). Preparation, writing and modification of interpretive and factual reports.
