The successful candidate will receive an above-industry-average salary and other benefits, including a 9-day working fortnight and flexible/ hybrid working. The team and office are based in Exeter. My client prides itself in having friendly, approachable staff, which leads to strong customer-client relationships. All technical staff are appropriately qualified and experienced and receive on-going in-house and external training.

The Geologist will be a graduate in a geology- or earth science-related discipline, with experience in both geotechnics and contaminated land. Ability, attitude and personality are more important to the team. Everyone at this company is keen to learn and develop and support other Engineers around them. You will:

·See your projects through all stages, from enquiry, to desk studies, fieldwork, monitoring, analysis, reporting, recommendations, and regulator liaison. Projects that you will work on will be interesting, varied, challenging and rewarding. ·Live and work in the South West: a beautiful part of the country. You will work with a small, sociable and close-nit team. You will work for a well-established and respected company with a reputation for quality; having just celebrated 20 years of trading, this is one of the longest-established companies in the South West. ·Receive comprehensive in-house and external training will be provided. If not already Chartered, support for Chartership will be provided.
