OVERVIEW: ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR (MACHINING) We are currently seeking an engineering professional to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of qualifications for a well-established training provider. The Machining Instructor

role will require you to be involved in teaching, coaching, and mentoring young learners undertaking L2 qualifications. You will be a time-served Engineer with Machining experience (turning, drilling & milling) and hold a level 3 or above in engineering. Ideally, you will have experience delivering training and will possess either an Assessor's Award or a teaching qualification (PTLLS or above). If you do not hold these qualifications but have a genuine desire to move into a training role, enjoy working in a learning environment, and hold sound experience in the engineering sector, my client would like to hear from you. Training will be provided for the right candidate. THE ROLE OF ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR (MACHINING): To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility (workshop delivery). Training learners in the centre towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards. We are looking for applicants that are self-motivated, a team player, and have a 'hands-on approach' to work within this rewarding environment. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR (MACHINING) Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within machining (fitting / milling / turning / drilling, CNC) Good communication and presentation skills Experience of working with young people QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR (MACHINING) Level 3 (or above) occupational qualification Assessor Qualification - A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent (desirable) Teaching qualification (desirable) A desire to pass on your knowledge & skills within engineering / machining This position is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance SALARY/BENEFITS: ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR (MACHINING) 35-37K starting salary Excellent Company Benefits Package and genuine career development opportunities
