What the role involves

• Engineering Lead - University of Greenwich, 30 Park Row, Greenwich, London, SE10 9LS.
• Develop a multi-skilled Hard FM team, setting clear objectives and driving high performance across engineering, compliance.
• Overseeing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance (PPM & reactive) across all M&E systems, ensuring services are safe, compliant, and delivered to SLA/KPI targets.
• Ensure full statutory compliance across the estate, including maintaining accurate logbooks, audit readiness, and adherence to Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work procedures.
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and performance across all outsourced works.
• Monitoring and improve service delivery through data, audits, and performance reporting, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Confirmed role details

• Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm 40hrs pw.
• £55,000pa with excellent benefits.
• Level 3 or above in a recognised engineering discipline essential.
• Excellent transport Links, enhanced annual leave (starting at 26 days with the potential to earn more).

• You wull manage 2 Supervisors and 13 Engineers, therefore great people management skills are essential.
