What the role involves

• Manage the Production Engineering team, driving performance, accountability, and development.
• Supporting the introduction and manufacture of electronic products by creating build documentation, production procedures, and tooling solutions.
• Managing customer projects and production engineering activities to ensure delivery targets, quality standards, and SLA requirements are consistently met.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency, ergonomics, quality, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Support ongoing business objectives.

Skills and requirements

• Company does not offer sponsorship, and you must have full right to work without restriction in the UK.
• Proven management experience within any form of manufacturing.
• Electronics manufacturing, or a similar production engineering environment.
• Strong background in production engineering, NPI processes, manufacturing documentation, tooling, and assembly optimisation.

Additional role context

• Up to £60,000pa.
• We are currently recruiting for a Production Engineering Manager for one of our clients in the central Hertfordshire region.
