What the role involves

Ensuring compliance with Building Regulation Approved Document B.
Engaging with Client Fire Officers to ensure compliance and smooth project delivery.
Carrying out CAT 1 or CAT 2 design checks.
Acting as Design Manager on smaller projects as required.

Skills and requirements

Accredited Engineering Degree and Chartered Engineer status.
HSE qualification (SMSTS or IOSH), CSCS (AQP/PQP), and a full UK driving licence.
LPCB Basic & Intermediate Design for Sprinkler Systems.
FIA BS5839-1 Advanced Fire Detection and Units 3–5.
