The role of Engineering Supervisor requires proven experience in leadership and strong people management of engineers. As the Engineering Supervisor, you will be expected to achieve maximum production and safety while minimizing downtime through effective engineering day shift cover for breakdowns and planned back shift cover on planned preventative maintenance routines. The Responsibilities: Work safely within time deadlines in a fast-paced production environment, with a solid grounding in industrial engineering desirable. Build a high-performing engineering department that is collectively responsible for contributing to agreed performance standards and targets. Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to all engineers. Create a collaborative way of working that revolves around knowledge sharing with key sawmill operators and fellow engineers. Person Specification: The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background, with a degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent. They will have experience leading a team of engineers.
