With recent investment we're now on a mission to build a new range of digital products and services that will make moving money internationally for real estate purchases even easier. We are now seeking an Engineering Manager based out of our London office. In this role, you will lead a full-stack team (8-12 Engineers & technical leads) focused on developing one of our new B2B products - PropertyConnect. Working closely with the Head of Product, the Engineering Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that this new product is taken from concept through to build, testing, and completion by ensuring that robust engineering standards and ways of working are maintained. What you'll do

Build new products - you’ll support your team to deliver a wide range of new products and features. Collaboration - You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers, designers, and architects to define requirements and design solutions for our product suite. Developing talent - you’ll hire and empower our engineers to be the best engineers they can be while maintaining a supportive and engaging team culture. Raise the technical bar - You insist on high standards of technical design and implementation and ensure your systems are operationally excellent. Plan and prioritise impactful technical investment initiatives for your teams. What you'll need

Previous engineering leadership experience of taking new SaaS products from 0 to 1. Experience of engineering leadership with a strong background in modern software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud technology (AWS). Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Engineering Manager in a highly regulated environment. Experience in rapidly improving and maintaining coding and architectural standards. Previous experience with another financial technology company with a global footprint. Previous experience at a B2B/B2C Payments Provider. International payments/FX experience highly desirable. Previous experience leading an offshore team of ICs. js (frontend) Spring Boot (framework)
