Potential for hybrid working but preference is onsite. A global leader in satellite communication technology is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join their UK-based Centre of Excellence. This organisation is at the forefront of innovation, driving the development of satellite terminals that enable seamless connectivity for businesses worldwide. As the Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team, overseeing the full lifecycle development of advanced hardware and software solutions. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will manage the delivery of critical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and schedule. This role also involves technical leadership, driving the certification of satellite communication products, and supporting the transition from R&D to mass production. In addition, you will contribute to solutions engineering efforts for next-generation systems, collaborating with global teams and key stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives. Key Skills and Background Required
Proven experience managing engineering teams, ideally in systems, hardware, or electronics engineering. Knowledge of RF systems/applications, hardware/software integration, or mechanical design. Comprehensive understanding of product lifecycle development, including certification and qualification processes. Strong knowledge of standards and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated environment. Demonstrated engineering background and proven industry experience, including leadership roles. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop teams. Next Steps
