Your unique contribution The role of the Engineering Manager is to drive a high-performance culture within the Bulk Operations Engineering team and to lead in the development of safety, people, plant & processes whilst supporting long term business transformation strategies. You will be responsible for the management of CAPEX and OPEX, and will continuously improve ways of working through collaboration, innovation and structured implementation plans. You will have five main areas of responsibility: People Leadership:

to lead, support and develop the team including succession planning. Maintenance Management:

to develop effective planned preventative maintenance strategies, working with Operations and Engineering Process Leaders to ensure an effective repair and maintenance plan is implemented. Budget & Strategy:

to prepare, deliver and monitor the Capex three yearly plan and deliver the strategy for carbon reduction in line with group sustainability targets. Project Management:

to provide quality project management from initial design through to commissioning and project completion. Engineering Improvements:

to develop and drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the engagement and involvement of the entire team. Your blend of talent This position could be right for you if you: Have a degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline, ideally with a mechanical or process bias. Are an accomplished people leader, with experience in successfully managing a team. Have a proven track record in leading multi-discipline engineering teams. Are computer literate and able to operate business process systems. Are experienced in engineering best practice relevant to continuous process operations. Hold a full UK driving license.
